Office Administrator/Receptionist

Our Office Administrator/Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring that our office is efficiently managed, well-stocked, and flawlessly organized, from purchasing, to organizing, to helping plan company events. This person is ultimately responsible for ensuring everyone who visits our office has a smooth and seamless visit. Our ideal candidate will ensure that everything at the office continues to run efficiently as we scale, from greeting and directing visitors to ordering supplies, managing with office related vendors, and other various ad-hoc projects. It’s an ideal position for someone eager to get into a rapidly growing technology start-up, support the team in a variety of ways, and learn a ton along the way.

The Office Administrator/Receptionist is also the face of Airware to everyone who comes into the office. In this capacity, he or she will welcome visitors and guests in the office, and receive and direct incoming calls, packages, and mail. This role will also be responsible for various administrative tasks and projects as they arise.


  • Purchase and stock office supplies, snacks and miscellaneous items--track and report all expenses in accounting system
  • Coordinate materials for Airware including making labels, preparing documents, assembling packets, mailing/shipping, etc.
  • Assist in planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, and events that occur throughout the year with related travel
  • Maintain office filing system (physical and electronic)

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • Passion for organization--this is an opportunity to implement best practices and processes in a dynamic startup environment
  • Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and complete multiple urgent tasks independently
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and effective listening skills
  • Pleasant demeanor and client orientation
  • Ability to troubleshoot common office equipment including copier, scanner, fax machine, printer etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Implement organizational processes to help drive efficiency throughout the office

Qualifications and Additional Experience Preferred

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced technology company
  • BS/BA degree
