Hermeus is an aerospace and defense technology company founded to radically accelerate air travel by delivering hypersonic aircraft. The company aims to develop hypersonic aircraft quickly and cost-effectively by integrating hardware-rich, iterative development with modern computing and autonomy. This approach has been validated through design, build, and test of the company’s first combined turbojet-ramjet engine and is now being scaled through its first flight vehicle program, Quarterhorse. Hermeus is also developing Darkhorse — an uncrewed hypersonic aircraft designed to deliver unique asymmetric capabilities to the warfighter.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee the smooth operation of our various office locations. The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional with a strong ability to handle diverse administrative tasks, manage office supplies, food & beverage program, facilitate communication between different locations, and ensure that each office environment is efficient, productive, and conducive to a positive work culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and support the Office Manager on daily operations of multiple office locations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and requests, providing timely and professional responses
  • Assist with the management and execution of the Food & Beverage program, including restocking drinks and snacks
  • Conduct regular visits to satellite office to assess operational efficiency, gather feedback, and implement recommendations and improvements as necessary (50-75% travel required)
  • Help maintain office supplies and inventory, ensuring materials are available as needed
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
  • Provide support to various internal departments as directed by the Office Manager
  • Provide support with all event coordination and logistics
  • Provide on-site support for satellite offices locations, ensuring that all operations needs are met
  • Provide support for remote test site locations as directed by the Office Manager
  • Other duties maybe required as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an office administration/support role within a manufacturing setting, preferably in a multi-location or multi-departmental setting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude
  • Experience in managing or participating in a food & beverage program
  • A passion for customer service excellence and a proactive approach to problem-solving
