About the Role

Our team in New York is growing! Our continued success and growth depends not just on setting a high bar of client satisfaction but also of employee experience. Andela is seeking a proactive, meticulously organized and efficient Office Manager to ensure smooth running of the office so that everyone has what they need to do their best work!

In addition to the managing the office, you will be responsible for vendor management, event planning, some executive assistance and working along side operations and our People & Culture team to make sure all the wheels are turning at maximum efficiency. You'll be our office guru for welcoming visitors, making sure the office environment is best in class and- so we need an Office manager with the organizational prowess to make this happen! The ideal candidate has superb organizational skills, is detail-oriented, and enjoys the feeling of helping others. The Office Manager should enjoy and feel comfortable interfacing with people of highly varied business and cultural backgrounds.


In this job you will:

  • Manage the office space and daily operations of the office
  • Manage communication + coordination with 3rd party vendors
  • Coordinate offsite meetings, special events, team building exercises and other events
  • Strive to improve the office space and employee experience by trying to identify and addresses issues before they arise
  • Support Operations, HR, Engineering Manager and other Team Leads with various tasks to maintain efficiency and happiness across the office
  • Assist in scheduling for executive level team members
  • Be the owner of creating an awesome office environment

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, previous office management or clerical experience desired
