About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving technology company. This role is critical to the day-to-day operations of our bustling office, and reports to the Facilities Manager. You are a passionate Jack or Jill of all trades who is known by your peers as the “the go-to person”. You are highly responsible, organized and engaged in your work. You are proactive, principled and your default mindset is always to get things done effectively and efficiently. You are also inventive, bringing creative solutions to whatever task we have at hand. You can compartmentalize the varying aspects of the role with exceptional grace.  Finally, you are an adept communicator and can always find the right words to reinforce a positive mindset and continue moving the project at hand forward.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all maintenance work with building management
  • Order groceries and restock kitchens daily
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when needed
  • Keep a clean and organized office throughout the day
  • Assist with organizing team and office events
  • Manage all in/outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Coordinate safety trainings and fire drills with the Facilities Manager, and serve as Floor Warden on our safety team
  • Provide anticipatory service for all office members including executive team when they visit the NY office (ex: ensuring supplies do not run out, reaching out to execs when coming into town to assist with booking conference rooms or setting up team dinners, creating documentation to help people find answers to their questions before they need to ask, etc)
  • Assist with various operations projects and events as needed
  • Manage day to day of our corporate apartment

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in an office role
  • Highly proficient in Mac OS + Google apps
  • 1+ years in startup environment

  • Prior experience working in a fast paced environment
  • College degree preferred
