Office Manager

Entrepreneur First is Europe's leading early-stage investor in deep technology companies. We help Europe's most talented individuals to build high growth technology companies from scratch. Over the last four years, we’ve built more than 75 startups, which are collectively worth over $400m.

We’re growing fast and have recently raised our second fund. To support the scaling of the business, we’re creating a new business function - the Partner Support Office - which is tasked with ensuring our four General Partners have the resources they need to follow-up on meetings with investors and to execute strategic projects that are key to the growth of the business. The mandate of the Partner Support Office also covers the day-to-day operational running of EF, from finance and office management, to compliance and management reporting.

The Office Manager will be a key role, not only of the Partner Support Office, but of the wider team and will enjoy the opportunity to work with all parts of the business.


What you’ll do:

Office Management and Administration

  • Be responsible making sure the office runs day to day. This includes managing the events calendar, managing the cleaning company, and ensuring the space is kept tidy.
  • Induct each new cohort to the office and how it works
  • Manage the meeting rooms and make sure that they are used appropriately
  • Identify opportunities for improving the office and implement new processes where necessary
  • Assist in the running and management of events, including organising invites and liaising with caterers
  • Be responsible for printers, photocopiers, stationery and office supplies
  • Receive and greet visitors to our office

Facilities Management and Administration

  • Be responsible for premises security (access keys, fire drills etc)
  • Maintain the compliance of Health and Safety of the building
  • Liaise with third party cleaners to ensure the facilities are maintained clean
  • Ensure the facilities remain in good working order and organise for repairs to be made when appropriate
  • Conduct building and safety checks - and engage with contractors to resolve any issues

  • No previous experience necessary
