Office Specialist (Vehicle Registration)

Our mission is simple, we are changing the way people buy cars. We are the first 100% online car-buying experience, which means we have no sales team and no commission-based positions within our company. We are disrupting the auto industry by removing the painful process of the dealership experience and replacing it with a seamless and convenient online platform. 

In this role, you will be working in the Carvana Registration Department.  This is a back office role; no interaction with customers.  Our day is focused on the administrative aspect of registering our customers’ vehicles. The Specialist is responsible for checking documents, scanning paperwork, and completing the processes to ensure a smooth transition of vehicle ownership from Carvana to our customer. 

This Full-Time position is based out of our headquarters in Tempe, AZ (202 Freeway & Priest). We are taking extra precautions, based on CDC guidance, to ensure the safety of our employees. We have supplemented our existing processes with further sanitization efforts, social distancing, and a mandatory face-covering/mask policy while at work. We also offer Health & Safety Guideline training for all new hires joining Carvana, to ensure compliance and understanding. 


  • Processing, finalizing and mailing out customer registrations
  • Reviewing customer paperwork for accuracy
  • Updating customer records to ensure the most up to date information is available in our systems
  • Interacting and communicating with team members across various lines of the business
  • Assisting our internal Customer Advocates with questions regarding Registration
  • Creative and forward thinking self-starter
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education REQUIRED
  • 1+ years of work experience in an administrative, clerical, or data entry capacity
  • Ability to manage, organize, and reconcile multiple sources of information with accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Computer literacy and data entry accuracy
  • Be a high energy, forward thinking self-starter
  • Professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers
  • Enthusiasm to thrive in a rapidly growing start-up atmosphere where roles continually adapt and evolve
