Operations Lead, San Francisco

Position Summary:

The San Francisco Operations Lead will represent Evercar each day, ensuring the success of our fleet and customers. This position will have a dual focus on Vehicle Operations and Customer Relations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Vehicle Operations:

  • Run logistics for our San Francisco fleet of electric vehicles
  • Own responsibility for ensuring that our vehicle operation is running above industry standards
  • Manage in-vehicle technology deployment and performance
  • Manage Associate and Vendor performance on weekly tasks to maintain vehicle condition and utilization
  • Work with market management team to set up new vehicle locations around the area
  • Monitor rates and maintain relationships with car service vendors
  • Identify and execute improvements to vehicle operations processes and operations center
  • Manage insurance claims
  • Communicate regularly with LA HQ on vehicle operations

Customer Relations:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Evercar in a new region
  • Represent Evercar at various community and marketing events as needed
  • Onboard new members onto the service
  • Conduct new member orientations to train members in the use of the Evercar tech platform and vehicles
  • Communicate regularly with LA HQ on status of new members

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated the ability to lead individuals and teams successfully in business, military, sports, or other fast-paced environments in a supervisory or team lead position
  • Great customer service skills and interest in making the customer experience the best it can be
  • You are not afraid to shake things up - you have proven experience in identifying opportunities for improving an operation and making it happen
  • You have a passion for data - you understand the critical importance of operational metrics and have experience leveraging them to improve 
  • Problem solving - you identify and resolve problems analytically and quickly
  • Interpersonal, oral and written communications skills to build relationships, influence and mentor staff, management, and customers
  • Planning and organization - you are self-directed, use your team’s time efficiently, and constantly seek opportunities for improvement
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid drivers license, satisfactory driving history
  • Must meet auto insurance guidelines
  • An enthusiasm for new technologies, innovative analytics and connected mobility
  • High energy (this is a startup with an all-hands-on-deck approach)
