Operations Manager


The Role:

Paysend is a FinTech disruptor changing the way that people around the world hold, spend and send their money. Our customer base is growing very quickly - we’ve amassed over 2.4 million customers in just over three years - and so we’re looking for a passionate operations superstar to join the team and help us shape the future of FinTech!

We’ve recently launched in the US and we’re looking for an operations superstar with an excellent understanding on US finance and tech sectors to help us grab a significant market share in the States, just as we’ve done in Europe.

Operations is at the heart of a well-run payments company and is what makes for a great user experience for the customers. As an Operations Manager, you will own the entire process from setting up new payment programs to monitoring, reporting and improving those programs daily.

You will have your hand on everything that makes a program successful from customer satisfaction to partner engagement and compliance.

Our operation team obsesses over every inch of money movement and how that impacts customers and our business. The role of an Operations Manager at Paysend is therefore a lifestyle not a job! What you’ll be doing:

  • Building new and managing existing business operational processes ensuring smooth onboarding of customers and compliance with US Bank partners.
  • Analyzing risk and fraud metrics by reviewing transactions and working closely with the anti-fraud team to continue to improve the rules and the engine.
  • Creating and monitoring different internal dashboards/management reports which help us make better decisions every day.
  • Working closely with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure a smooth customer experience and timely response to all inquiries or concerns.
  • Working closely with the customer support/experience team to help them with operational requirements by bridging the gap between cross teams.
  • Working closely and managing a good relationship with different vendors, partners and banks.
  • Working with the product and engineering teams to continuously focus on automating a large part of daily operations and improve processes.


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented and diligent with timeline bound project deliveries.
  • Work experience in the Internet/ Banking / Fintech / eCommerce industry is preferred.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix Organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • “Get work done” attitude and manage good relationship with partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • 3+ years in a similar Payments Operations Role.
