Operations Manager (Based in Malaysia)

As a member of an innovative, motivated and talented team, you will manage the setup, improvement and streamlining of StoreHub’s Operations, SOPs, and team structures in order to drive our growth. Our next Operations Manager has a passion for taking on challenges in a fast-paced environment.

As an Operations Manager, you will be managing the Operations Team on various high priority projects and initiatives. You will also oversee with the development and improvement of operational policies for the company, focusing on efficiency and scalability.


What you will do:

  • Drive critical policy, planning, and strategy decisions
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and processes to ensure scalability and effectiveness in the following areas:
    • Customer communication and engagement
    • Team and department performance
    • Business growth and expansion
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, modeling, and auditing in areas such as:
    • Tools and platforms
    • Facilities
    • Supply Chain
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
  • Assume ownership of ad-hoc projects and drive results
  • Consolidate, examine and report on company results and finances
  • Work with and report results to senior stakeholders
  • Support alliances and partnerships with other organizations
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership Team and cross-functional teams to execute on large internal and external high-impact projects and initiatives to drive growth in the local market
  • Hire and train people for the Operations Team

What you will need:

  • 2+ years operations experience, preferably as a team lead or above
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Refined ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin
  • Possession of key competencies, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization and decision-making
