Entrepreneur First is Europe's leading early-stage investor in deep technology companies. We help Europe's most talented individuals to build high growth technology companies from scratch. Over the last four years, we’ve built more than 75 startups, which are collectively worth over $400m.

We’re growing fast and have recently raised our second fund. To support the scaling of the business, we’re creating a new business function - the Partner Support Office - which is tasked with ensuring our four General Partners have the resources they need to follow-up on meetings with investors and to execute strategic projects that are key to the growth of the business. The mandate of the Partner Support Office also covers the day-to-day operational running of EF, from finance and office management, to compliance and management reporting.

    • Assessment of the individual’s immigration status and most suitable visa routes for coming to the UK
    • Outlining visa requirements
    • Helping visa applicants with queries relating to their applications
    • Liaising with immigration lawyers, whom we have contracted to provide support and expert counsel on immigration issues
  • Be responsible for the administration of all EF legal documentation and deeds - primarily relating to EF investments -  including:
    • Drafting legal documentation as required
    • Reviewing legal documentation and confidently providing counsel on its validity
    • Ensuring the documents are signed and executed as required

Who you are:

  • You will be exceptionally pro-active and happy to take decisions independently
  • You’re highly organised and thrive off getting things done to a high standard
  • You want to work as part of a small team, and be surrounded by a buzzing community
  • You are characterised by high levels of professionalism and discretion
  • You are naturally collaborative, optimistic and responsive
  • You have a background in law and have preferably completed the LPC and have previous experience in a Paralegal role working in private practice or alongside external counsel

What you get

Salary depending on experience.

Above and beyond financial compensation, the benefits of working at EF include:

  • Being part of a buzzing space full of lots of young entrepreneurs and being part of a small and fast paced team
  • The opportunity to work closely with top technical talent, cutting-edge startups, innovative corporates and some of the world’s best educational institutions
  • A generous pension allowance
  • A 6 week holiday allowance (including the two weeks of Christmas and New Year)
  • A book allowance to help us collectively build the EF library and access to our Cycle to Work scheme
