Partner Manager

Grow Stripe through partnerships.
The Business Development team identifies worthwhile partners, negotiates and closes deals, and manages and grows existing partnerships. We focus on strategic, platform and distribution partnerships and collaborate across a number of teams internally--from product, engineering and operations to sales and legal. As a Partner Manager, you'll be responsible for managing some of our largest and most important partnerships, expanding the scope and ensuring the ultimate success of our relationships. We're looking for someone with outstanding communication skills, the ability to prioritize across multiple partners and projects, and strong analytical and technical ability. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of Stripe's products, strategy and internal teams. Determine how partners can take advantage of products in development. Build strong relationships with partners. Represent partners as their advocate in internal discussions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Stripe engineering teams to define product priorities, plan joint roadmaps with partners and help solve production issues. 
  • Provide deal support, planning, relationship management, and analytical insights to optimize the value of our partnerships.
  • Develop business plans, growth, and risk management strategies with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth, product adoption and revenue.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of external stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Risk and Legal to lead complex projects.

  • Experience working closely with external parties in partner management, business development, product management, or management consulting.
  • Strong internal and external communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong grasp of technology and ability to grasp new information quickly.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Experience developing business and investment cases, financial analysis and modeling
Nice to haves
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Programming or product management experience
