Job Description:

Novetta is seeking a Payroll Assistant to help assist with the processing of semi-monthly payroll in compliance with Federal, state and local laws and help assist reconcile payroll to labor each payroll cycle.

Responsibilities include:

Primary responsibilities labor, leave and payroll processing
Assist prepare AP voucher for payroll related vendors expense
Assist prepare payroll related general ledger account reconciliations
Assist process timesheet corrections with proper costing
Generate special request payroll reports from payroll system
Address payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner
Interface with external auditors for interim and year-end audit.
Interface with employees for timesheet access and pay statement access
Ability to maintain an optimistic, professional and credible customer service attitude

Basic Qualifications:

5 plus years payroll experience
CostPoint 7 experience
UltiPro Workforce experience
Good communication skills
Work independently
Strong background in payroll
Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

Excel skills
Ultimate Payroll Software

Security Clearance:

Candidates must be eligible for a US government security clearance to start
