Twilio global payroll department is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team in Dublin office.  The ideal candidate is someone who participate enthusiastically, works well under deadlines, multi-tasks, and solves problems, all while delivering excellent results.  The Payroll Specialist performs complex works of international payrolls, recording and auditing and will work closely with the HR, Tax, and Stock Administration departments to help support the daily operations for the International payrolls.

Who?

 

The successful candidate will enjoy working along-side the International Payroll Supervisor. We seek someone with: 

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in line with statutory requirements.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration ideally in an international environment and experience with dealing with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Ensure up to date payroll regulatory compliance legislation is adhered to, throughout International.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principle and employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques is prefered.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; requires strong multi-tasking skills, and the flexibility to switch from one project to the next quickly
  • Extreme attention to detail, hands-on approach, teamwork oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Workday payroll experience preferred
  • NetSuite
  • Must maintain total confidentiality and discretion of all employee information
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
  • Minimum of 5 years Payroll experience preferred

 

 

What?

 As Payroll Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outsourced payroll providers in the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls.
  • Review preliminary payroll calculations from payroll vendors and advise of any amendments required.
  • Research and resolve payroll related queries from employees and key stakeholders.
  • Process off-cycle payroll transactions as required.
  • Review and complete tax and other statutory payroll filings in partnership with external providers with prior approvals.
  • Ensure all payroll processes are up to date and reviewed continually in line with SOX requirements.
  • Assist in audits (Local Statutory, Tax audits, etc.)
  • Assist in month-end close.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to provide required information as related to payroll to completion of audits.
  • Seek to improve and implement procedures and systems functionality to increase efficiencies and streamlining processes
  • Ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
