As we have now launched our SIPP product to our platform, we're looking for an ambitious and driven Pension Transfers and Administration Specialist to join our Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop the operational blueprint for our SIPP product operations while building for customer excellence.

What you'll do in your first twelve months at Freetrade:

  • Support the continued operational roll-out of the SIPP product.
  • Act as subject matter expert to the engineering team as they build the functionality into our existing platform to enable automation.
  • Provide end-to-end administration services including onboarding, transfers, calculations, valuations, benefit calculations, retirements and general servicing.
  • Assist the operations team in ad-hoc brokerage work .
  • Provide technical support to our Customer Operations team to help answer client queries.

About you: 

  • You are passionate about our product and the opportunity to innovate and modernise the world of pensions with a customer-focussed and tech-centric approach.
  • You have a solid working background and understanding within SIPPs and pension transfers, the relevant rules, regulations and reporting requirements.

  • You are experienced in managing projects and working cross functionally with various teams.
  • You are used to working with a high level of independence and thrive in a fast-paced working environment where you can act on and share ideas.

  • Brokerage experience along with the IOC qualification is beneficial however it is not mandatory.


The application process consists of a preliminary call with a member of the Talent Team, a phone interview with the Brokerage Operations Manager followed by a task and a Zoom video interview.
