People Operations Benefit and Payroll Administrator

TherapyBrands is seeking a dynamic Benefits and Payroll Administrator to be the primary business partner to own and successfully

execute the benefits and payroll administration. In this role, the adminstrator will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with vendors/clients to ensure rock star level compliance and execution. Being a subject matter expert that knows the benefits world and understands the importance of educating and supporting the team will be key to the success of this role.


What you'll do

  • Assist the People Operations Director in providing a variety of cross-functional services essential to running the business (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Benefits, People Development, People Relations, Payroll, & Technology)
  • Primary business partner to own and successfully execute the benefits and payroll administration
  • Understand our business and how what you do has the power to accelerate it at rocket speeds
  • Be a trusted business partner and coach
  • Continuously evolve and change – proactively seek out ways to reduce the time you spend on required tasks so you can spend more time proactively impacting people


Requirements

What you'll need:

  • 4-year college degree; or the equivalent practical work experience in a People Operations (or Human Resources)
  • Experience as a Senior HR Generalist/HR Generalist or Benefits Administrator
  • Ensures accuracy of all benefit onboarding and offboarding
  • Respond to benefit inquiries on plan provisions, benefit enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations under ERISA, HIPAA and COBRA
  • Expedites delivery of benefits by establishing and maintaining working relationships with benefit providers.
  • History of working with and influencing a variety of business partners in a very fast-paced and energetic environment
  • Maintain payroll administrative support by following federal/state and company guidelines, understanding proper taxation and required reporting
  • Technologically agile –, you learn new software easily (examples: UltiPro, #Slack, Gmail, Gsuite, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Exceptionally skilled in the use of MS Excel or Google Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Team-player; you can write and talk to technical and non-technical people so that people reading or listening to you understand what you are communicating
  • Problem-Solver; you enjoy solving problems and don't stop until you've solved them; you are able to work on multiple tasks concurrently
