What you’ll do: 

As People Team Coordinator, under the supervision of the VP, of People & Talent, you will provide operational and analytical support to the day-to-day activities of the People & Talent Team. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to take the initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. This role would be hybrid, based in Los Angeles. This role is required to be in our LA HQ Office 2-3 days a week. 

This role will focus on: 

  • Supporting talent acquisition with customized screening and initial contacts of applicants to determine qualifications and interest level. Assist talent acquisition with the coordination of interviews. Refer viable applicants to the recruiter/hiring manager
  • Conduct final reference calls prior to final offer
  • Assist in training and onboarding new hires by creating new hire schedules, and assisting with maintaining training calendar
  • Working with our People Ops team on employee engagement initiatives that help make HopSkipDrive a great place to work!
  • Helping to create a place people love to come to work. This role will manage visitors to the office, order supplies and manage mail distribution
  • Maintain accurate and update employee records and personnel files maintaining confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information

What you bring:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience supporting People Ops, Talent, or Admin functions
  • Motivated by our mission and working with all employees
  • Proactive, able to work independently as well as ask questions when needed
  • Excellent communication skills- both internally and with applicants 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely
  • Approach to work with a "no job is too small" attitude, and have a curious mind - always willing to learn and grow
  • Proficiency in Google Docs + Sheets
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS and ADP WorkforceNow is a Plus!

HopSkipDrive is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role in Los Angeles, CA is $20-24. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location. 

This role is required to be in our LA HQ Office 2-3 days a week.
