People Team Finance Coordinator

As the company grows and attracts more talent, Agoda seeks to hire a self-motivated, dynamic Finance Coordinator to partner with our global teams and provide high-quality customer service for our vendors around the world. We expect the successful candidate to bring his or her prior knowledge, quantitative acumen, and an ability to identify solutions to the role. 

The Finance Coordinator will play a critical role in building a new function that is initially focused on delivering an improved finance process for the millions in expenses and hundreds of vendors that we work with. The successful candidate will lead by identifying process innovations and recommending new solutions to streamline the finance process (such as electronic signatures, paperless invoices, faster turnaround).

Responsibilities

  • Learn the finance approval and creation process for any new external partners we work with
  • Efficiently process vendor invoices as they arrive and work with internal stakeholders (finance accounts payables and People Team leaders) to ensure payments are timely paid
  • Manage escalations, ensure appropriate stakeholders are aware and that matters are resolved in timely matter
  • Work well with different stakeholders within the People team as well as business units within the company
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal finance team members to ensure timely resolution of any outstanding matters
  • Identify and recommend innovations to the current process and tools being used
