Overview: Reporting to the Director, Business Operations, this position will be accountable for the project planning, scheduling, tracking, managing and communication required for the successful and timely completion of internal cross-departmental projects. Project Manager will work primarily on new product operations, creating execution plans as they move through the productization pipeline.

Specific Duties:
• Serve as project manager on key Ad Solution and Operations initiatives: Prepares and manages detailed project plans; Directs and coordinates activities of project teams; Reviews business processes to uncover areas of inefficiency or improvement
• Develop, iterate, and maintain business processes, best practices, and other documentation across the team
• Implement, maintain and continuously develop suitable tools and metrics to support project management effectiveness, while aligning with the growing and scaling needs of the team
• Partner with senior level business leaders to develop framework for tackling complex business problems, and work to achieve critical business goals
• Balance critical facets of traditional project management with flexibility and adaptability to unique and complex business projects in order to achieve progress while maintaining the BuzzFeed culture
• Develop a thorough understanding of BuzzFeed video products and offerings
• Ad hoc analysis and business operations reporting

Requirements:
• 4-7 years experience in consulting, project management, or similar field
• Project Management skills and experience in managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously; proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills with strong working knowledge of Excel and other Office products
• High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
• Solution-oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment, as well as situations of ambiguity and uncertainty
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated proclivity in Technology; understanding of technical tools such as Trello and Jira
• Innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset/vision a must
• Bachelor’s Degree
