Post Closing Manager

Post Closing Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage the post closing and interim servicing teams including analysts, Sr. Analysts, and Team Lead’s
  • Hire, train, coach, and empower team members
  • Develop best in class on boarding and training for new team members in a remote environment
  • Maintain scalability and growth of various operational processes through automation. Examples include process design, pipeline management, turn around time, etc.
  • Leverage data to conduct in-depth analysis across areas of the business to develop an understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities
  • Work cross functionally with department leaders to reduce post closing conditions and minimize warehouse turn times
  • Constantly strive to create operational efficiencies to empower the team to do more while working less.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during the post closing and interim servicing process
  • Monitor post-closing pipeline on daily basis to ensure workflow is evenly distributed
  • Maintain strong working relationships with investors and warehouse lenders
  • Forecast Warehouse capacity and utilization
  • Lead Cross Functional team to solve most complex post closing issues

Requirements (Must Haves)

  • 5+ year of post closing experience with a residential mortgage lender
  • 3+ years of Managerial experience
  • Experience delivering to aggregators, FNMA/FHLMC Cash Window and MBS securitization and GNMA securitization
  • Deep understanding of GSE (FNMA, FHLMC,GNMA) requirements
  • Experience with Jumbo, HELOC’s, 2nd’s and Non-QM Loans
  • Expertise with FHA insuring
  • Deep understanding of interim serving process and regulations
  • Experience with multiple MSR outlet strategies such as retained, released, and co-issue
  • Expert knowledge and familiarity with current laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to create reports and analyze data utilizing different data sources and data visualization tools
  • Technical savviness with, but not limited to, MS Office, GSuite, and LOS
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information from a variety of sources with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Fast learner, critical thinking, positive attitude, team-oriented and ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving startup environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
