The Rythm team is seeking an entrepreneurial, aggressive, results-oriented PR / Content Development Manager to help build our awareness and drive content that can lead to greater engagement. Part creative, part hustler, this individual will be responsible for driving coverage for the launch of our first product in a nascent category.
In addition to a rolodex with deep media relations, the ideal candidate will be an independent go-getter with excellent writing skills, hands on experience in launching products.
Build on the PR strategy set forth by the agencies and determine schedule for our product launch, new milestones, reacting to market trends, identifying coverage opportunities and pitching stories to pressWork with agency partners to aggressively drive media relations for all U.S. and Europe outreachDevelop strong relationships with editors and reporters that cover various aspects of lifestyle, tech coveragePlan and execute press events around the science, product, and key corporate announcementsBuild and maintain press listsWork in collaboration with Product Marketing to drive all outreach to influencersAuthor press releases and traffic samples to press partnersManage monthly and yearly PR reportsPlan and organize press related presentations with Rythm executives

Build and execute on an editorial calendar for social media channelsGet a good grasp of the tone of the brand and author blog / social postsCollaborate with team to draft and execute ideas that will engage our social communities, and support the efforts of the Growth / Acquisition teamsPrevious hardware or product marketing experience
