Pricing & Inventory Analyst, Revenue Operations

The Pricing & Inventory Analyst will be an integral part of the Revenue Operations and overall business team, responsible and contributing to media strategy & planning, inventory & yield management, product packaging & pricing, and audience insight & monetization across all 8 Vox Media brands. This role includes close, daily communication with Account Management & Direct Sales, Ad Operations, Brand Strategy & Editorial teams as well as external third party partners and platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Approve all plans submitted for inventory approval:
    • Work daily with sales team to ensure client objectives are being met at proposal stage
    • Ensure every proposal meets internal objectives for inventory forecast and pricing
  • Daily management & maintenance of order management system, Operative, and data sync with Salesforce, DFP and Google Analytics
  • Maintain rate card & order management system for continuously updating pricing & packaging of sponsorships, takeovers, branded content and other direct sold products
  • Work with Ad Ops/Account Management teams to proactively optimize campaigns
  • Forecast inventory, sell-through rate, and delivery across all Vox Media Brands
  • Develop reporting to identify inventory sell-through / yield improvement areas and provide recommendations


  • BA/BS preferred with strong academic record
  • 1-2 years of digital media experience, or in an outward-facing analytical role
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving and communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Solid understanding of client services, digital advertising metrics and the current industry trends
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and mediate a large volume of demands and requests
  • Knowledge of ad operations, ad serving, or familiarity with Operative, DFP, or Google Analytics a plus
  • Smart, proactive learner with strong organizational agility and attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and do whatever is needed to see a project through to completion
  • Have an entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial mindset
