What you'll do at Jamf:

The Principal Recruiter Technical Lead is a highly visible and crucial role on our recruiting team. In this role, they will be responsible for managing and executing our technical full recruiting cycle, from kickoff to offer. The Principal Recruiter is responsible for attracting a qualified and diverse group of candidates for consideration, as well as providing guidance and consultative support and expertise to hiring managers to ensure a positive and productive interview experience. Success is measured by the quality and quality of new hires that meet Jamf’s business objectives.

The Principal Recruiter is expected to demonstrate competence across all stages of the recruiting lifecycle, exhibit a deep understanding of the Product Design & Development (PD&D) department’s teams and strategic objectives, an understanding of the external tech market, and provide mentorship to other members of the technical recruiting team.


  • Manage the full life cycle recruiting process for technical positions, with special attention focused on increasing diversity and achieving broader company goals.
  • Build a strong pipeline and sourcing strategy for key positions to quickly meet the needs of the business.
  • Proactively execute business focused talent strategies that align with business strategies.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with hiring managers and internal HR teams to support effective and strategic hiring and recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure high-quality data is available for reporting and to make decisions on hiring strategy.
  • Provide a remarkable candidate experience to external and internal talent with a globally progressive and inclusive approach.
  • Work collaboratively and build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate our employer brand and value proposition to global talent community.
  • Demonstrate external market and hiring lifecycle expertise to provide consultative partnership and collaboration with hiring managers to plan recruiting strategy.
  • Contribute ideas toward the continuous improvement of recruiting processes, including creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies, interview best practices, and process improvements.
  • Mentor and support recruiting team members and hiring managers, and act a trusted advisor.
  • Influence and persuade hiring managers to utilize best practices.
  • Provide feedback and work with Talent Brand Manager to set strategy for candidate outreach.
  • Run ad hoc reports and leverage data from Greenhouse Recruiting and LinkedIn Talent Insights to inform strategy decisions (i.e. candidate sources, historical pipeline performance, external market data and competitive intelligence, etc).
  • Perform other duties as required and complete all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. 

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience (required)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience using an Applicant Tracking System to manage job and applicant data, and run ad hoc reports (required)
  • Experience recruiting for Software Engineering and other technical roles (required)
  • Experience hiring in international markets (preferred)
  • Experience mentoring or acting as Technical Recruiting Lead

Education & Certifications:

  • 2 year / Associates (required)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field (Preferred) 
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered 
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred)

Physical requirements:

  • This role may require travel to career fairs and other events. Must be able to transport booth materials weighing up to 15 lbs.
