As a Private Label Intern, you will work directly with our Vice President of Private Label and Product Development Manager on a broad set of business-related issues, product development processes and research projects. You will have the opportunity to learn everything about bringing CPG products from concept through development to launch. We are seeking a Private Label Intern who is ambitious, loves to learn, is very detail oriented and analytical, and is ready to learn from experienced entrepreneurs. You are looking to do whatever is necessary to help the team accomplish its goals, and you have a sense of ownership, initiative, drive and pride in your work.


  • Work with VP & Manager to generate new product ideas and work to develop and evolve it into from concept to launch.
  • Gain exposure to all phases of bringing consumer packaged goods products (including food) to market.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to make suggestions on potential products and categories.
  • Use Excel to generate sales forecasts and initial order quantities.
  • Help identify, vet and contact suppliers to request product information, price quotes and samples of potential private label products.
  • Examine packaging of competition to identify import claims and callouts that should be included on our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product development plan, marketing ideas and sale objectives.
  • Manage Private Label sample closet, checking in samples and organizing objectives.


  • Junior or Senior Level Current Student in NYC
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who possesses a strong work ethic in New York City area
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must have solid Excel skills (know how to create pivot tables).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Extremely organized with a keen eye for detail
  • Desire to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced tech company
