Process / Mechanical Engineer

We are working exclusively with a client on a search for a Mechanical/Process Engineer, contract role based in Deer Park, TX. Our client is a leading company in the terminal and storage industry. This position supports brownfield expansion projects and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key engineering initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field walks and develop detailed technical scope packages for brownfield projects.
  • Coordinate and support design engineering activities, including FEED, MTO, and constructability reviews.
  • Develop and update the Basis of Design and Project Execution Plan.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and monitoring project schedules up to Final Investment Decision (FID).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and deliver as-built documentation during commissioning.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to integrate engineering, procurement, and construction functions seamlessly.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in piping design and cost estimating.
  • Strong background in brownfield projects and multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
  • Familiarity with FEED, Basis of Design, and project execution processes.
