About the Role:
AlayaCare is looking for our next Product Content Marketing Manager to join its marketing team!
Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you will be essential in crafting AlayaCare’s product launch content and communication with a focus on positioning, value selling and adoption. This role will own and execute all the Go To Market content that will support product marketing and sales teams. Working with the larger marketing team you’ll ensure that AlayaCare’s unique value proposition is effectively communicated, increasing brand awareness and conversions for our sales and product teams. You will work collaboratively with the product marketing manager on the content strategy and then fully own the planning, creation and generation of the content that adheres to our style guide, editorial guide and tone.
Position location, travel, and in-office expectations:
AlayaCare supports a flexible working model, expecting our employees to spend time onsite at their closest office location each week while offering flexibility for some hybrid work. Our team encourages in-person collaboration and with this, the preferred candidate location would be within the Greater Toronto Area. Candidates with transferrable experience in other key regions of Canada (Montréal, Victoria, Vancouver, and surrounding GTA areas). Some travel within Canada will be expected (up to 15% of the time), infrequent travel to the USA for events could be expected.
What you'll be responsible for:
Create clear, concise and engaging content for our product marketing, sales, and demand generation teams ranging from internal communications to reports, product updates, one-pagers, white papers, sales enablement collateral, case studies, and other projects as necessary
Analyze competitors’ content, messaging, and distribution tactics
Using the identified target audiences and their key demographics, figure out their interests and online behaviour to create compelling content that converts
Be responsible and accountable for end to end content creation – and with tight quality control and positioning approaches.
Assist in developing copy for new and enhanced product launches with a focus on value selling.
Work with AI and external software to scale your content distribution and output
Ensure written content aligns with strategic goals and organizational culture
Conduct research and interviews with customers to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions.
Provide quality control of materials produced by the organization, ensuring consistency of style and accuracy of grammar
Solve editorial issues and process bottlenecks, and proactively identify and anticipate opportunities (for campaigns and projects) where positioning and/or language could be improved
Collaborate with our digital team to integrate high-volume keywords into web copy with an aim to attract organic traffic
Measure success through lead generation and organic traffic growth
Adhere to strict timelines that honor our product releases
Ability to work individually for their own deliverables while getting key stakeholders to buy in.
- Participate in some North American travel (primarily within Canada - Toronto and Montreal) up to 15% of the time.
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, Sciences, etc.) or a Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field with sufficient relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing within a software environment is required
- Technical acumen and experience adopting and leveraging mar-tech
Success in providing marketing support to sales, product marketing, and other teams
Experience creating strong, engaging content
Creative and forward-thinking
Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices
Goal-oriented and internally motivated
Proven ability to manage projects and juggle a diverse workload while meeting all deadlines
Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
Strong listening and communication skills
A moderate understanding of Canadian and US healthcare is a plus
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset, though not a requirement
