Product Design Operations Manager

London, United Kingdom

We’re looking for an empathetic leader to take the helm of Product Design Operations as we look to acquire new and retain more travellers as we continue to grow beyond flights. This opportunity will see you partner with squads across the organisation to re-invent how we help travellers plan, book and experience their trip. As well as continuing to grow our design team and further embed our design culture across the org globally.

You’ll be an experienced Design Program Manager who has delivered significant results at a company-wide level — defining operational strategy, coordinating and launching new products and /or services, overseeing complex processes and org challenges, as well as hiring and developing top talent.

Along with the above you’ll balance great operational thinking, design process knowledge, experience and data to cut through complexity and identify high impact opportunities that deliver simple user-centric solutions.

Our ambitions, scale and growth trajectory are unique in the industry which could result in this opportunity being truly career defining.

Skills & Experience Required:

Great Design leaders come from everywhere – their paths are as varied as the skills they have accumulated. What they share is a common aptitude — they are problem solvers at heart who set a high bar for design craft.

At this level we strongly value experience and accomplishment, but there is no set-list of requirements. If you feel this is the place for you to make your mark, we encourage you to apply!

Ideally:

  • 5+ years Program Management, Product Management, Project Management or relevant experience in a design-led cross-functional (PM, Design & Eng) product driven organisation or digital agency
  • Track record of managing and shipping impactful design initiatives in large digital product organizations
  • Deep knowledge of and appreciation for the Product Design process
  • Background establishing systems, supporting teams and developing relationships

  • Experience in supporting the implementation and maintenance of initiatives at scale with design and product teams.
  • Background in supporting and/or establishing systems and demonstrated flexibility to get things done.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about organizational excellence and attention to detail
  • Thrive in ambiguity and a fast-paced, hyper-growth organisation. #LI-JM1
