Product Designer (UI/UX)

Hillary for America is assembling a team of Product Designers who will create a new generation of campaign tools. You’ll have the opportunity to design fundraising products that raise hundreds of millions of dollars, communication products that educate voters on policy, and organizational products that will be used by millions of volunteers. This role will report to the Chief Product Officer, while collaborating with a team of fellow Product Designers, Visual Designers, User Researchers, and Engineers.


What you’ll do:

  • You’ll get to know our users’ needs and generate innovative product ideas to solve them.
  • You’ll create IA & UX documents, user flows, and visual designs.
  • You’ll quickly create multiple interactive prototypes; knowing when to strive for pixel-perfection and when to utilize low-fidelity sketches.
  • You’ll embrace an iterative design process.
  • You’ll present your work in critiques and defend your decisions.
  • You’ll pair with fellow designers and front-end engineers.


Who you are:

  • You have 2+ years of experience shipping products for multiple devices (web, phone, tablet).
  • You have strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
  • You’re an excellent collaborator. You’re humble and honest.
  • You’re proficient in modern design tools like Sketch and InVision. 
  • You’re an early adopter of new tools like Zeplin, Atomic, Marvel, and Principal.
  • You have an outstanding online portfolio showing a range of prior design work.
