Product Integrity Specialist [Contractor]



Stitch Fix is currently looking for a Product Integrity Specialist to fulfill an 18 week contract assignment, beginning in early January 2021.  

You will play a key role in ensuring our product meets important regulatory and company standards, including expectations related to product safety and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel regulatory testing, fabric testing, apparel performance testing, product safety testing, analyzing vendor performance, and supply chain operations. 


  • Review key product categories for Product Integrity and Product Safety risks during the development phase
  • Review testing data and respond to vendors and internal stakeholders according to established standards
  • Monitor repetitive testing failures and problematic vendor performance and extract data insights for review by Quality Manager
  • Process paperwork and maintain records of testing for identified high-risk product categories
  • Monitor compliance with General Certificate of Conformity and other certification documentation requirements. Follow-up with appropriate internal and external partners to correct missing/incorrect submissions and verify accuracy as directed
  • Organize and maintain Quality Assurance department records and information as assigned
  • Help resolve vendors’ questions related to testing and product compliance


  • You have a college degree (BA/BS in textiles, chemistry or business ), with 0-5+ years of relevant work experience in product quality and testing, with preference for experience in apparel and soft goods
  • You have a basic understanding of apparel and accessory manufacturing
  • You are a positive team player who is able to work independently
  • You have superior Excel skills and are a PowerPoint wiz 
  • You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have experience researching and analyzing large amounts of data
  • You are extremely detail oriented 
  • You exhibit a high degree of cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • You work well in a demanding, fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities
  • Your are able to commit to an 18 week contract assignment commencing January 2021
