About Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial product manager to join our Accounts and Identity team to create a delightful and trustworthy account experience for China users. The accounts and identity team is responsible for everything accounts related including but not limited to account lifecycle management, Identity verification and business account structure. Collaborating with engineers, designers and data scientists, the product manager will be responsible for finding user problems, defining new opportunities and shipping products that drive our business forward.


  • Sets vision for the Trust experience and safety product team. Challenges the status quo and inspires people toward a unified destination.
  • Creates clear goals for the team and efficiently executes to ship product and deliver impact for our business and users.
  • Leads large, cross-functional groups of people to deliver on team’s mission (without necessarily managing team members). Communicates concisely and influences outcomes.
  • Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (HCO, Community Support Operations, Trust ops, etc.) and China Leadership/Executive team.   


  • 5+ years product management experience with a consumer internet company
  • Demonstrated track record of product leadership.  Ability to lead and influence teams.
  • Has gotten hands dirty shipping features across various platforms (iOS, Android, and Web)
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Experience with Chinese consumer internet products or marketplaces. previous experience in a risk management role/identity is a plus.
  • Big thinking. Should be able to help a small team achieve goals out of their comfort zone.
  • Radical thinking paired with strong execution. Can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there.
  • Fluency (reading/writing/speaking) in English and Mandarin is a must
  • Willing to travel to Beijing 1-2 times per quarter
