Job Summary:
 
You, as the successful candidate for this Product Manager position, will have a proven track record of creating innovative solutions either at a software or manufacturing company.  This experience will be used to: 
• Manage mid-term enhancements and plan the next generation of our analysis engine considering market performance, automation, integration, and scalability requirements 
• Enhance our administration capabilities for configuring and maintaining manufacturing cost models and digital factories
• Collect and analyze customer feedback, market data, and internal research to plan our product roadmap, define product requirements and validate solutions
 
Responsibilities:
 
Product Management (70%)
 
• Create and maintain a product backlog of prioritized work for your team to maximize customer value while achieving company goals. 
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand the problems they face, their needs, and translate them into clearly defined requirements. 
• Drive planning of complex capabilities that contain multiple threads of development.  
• Serve as the Product Manager in aPriori's Agile Scrum process, participating in regular meetings and ensuring timely review and acceptance of work per the acceptance criteria and definition of done. 
• Define, architect, prioritize and deliver new software product capabilities. 
• Strong experience with cloud-based microservice products and architectures. 
• Generate conceptual/logical product architecture diagrams, documentation, and risk assessments. 
• Initiate and lead formal and informal reviews of ideas and technical objectives – promote ideas and practices which drive innovation. 
• Communicate effectively with developers, other product managers, leadership, and others about project progress and risk, always presenting alternative approaches and plans when appropriate. 
 
Product Evangelism (10%)
 
• Present product strategy, future direction, and currently available features and functions to customers, partners, industry analysts and other areas of the organization. This includes speaking engagements, webinars, and customer visits.
 
Competitive Product & Market Analysis (10%)
 
• Evaluate competitive market offerings and deliver on differentiation, positioning, and communications. 
• Research innovative approaches to solving similar problems, remaining current on all related technologies. 
 
Cross-Functional Work (10%)
 
• Team with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Marketing, and others to define, develop, market, sell, and deliver our products to exceed expectations for our company's goals. 
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly explain complex business and technical topics to both technical and non-technical resources 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully to both internal and external customers, including senior executives and market influencers 
 
Education and Experience:
 
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science 
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Product Management for a software product, preferably in the cloud.  Preference will be given for experience with the Pragmatic Framework for product management. 
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical leadership role (Engineering/Product Development, Technical Architect, Technical Project Lead), especially in the Cloud.
• Experience working in an Agile development team. 
• Strong experience in assessing and managing project risks and issues, and driving tactical objectives in an assertive, fast-growing, dynamic cloud organization 
• Experience managing or delivering product and/or projects to large-scale enterprises, especially in the Cloud (Global 2000) 
 
 
Physical Requirements:
 
Occasional travel to customer sites but would not exceed 10% 
Hybrid Role - Travel to Belfast Office Required. Must be within Northern Ireland & driving distance to Belfast
