Department description:

The Product Management team's success is measured by how much our customers love our product and how well we empower internal users. Our job is to identify the opportunities for innovation and improvement and play a leading role representing the partner needs in defining the right product at the right time.

As a Product Manager at OnDeck, you will:

  • Drive the product innovation and roadmap of our data and decisioning platform.
  • Build out a scalable and flexible data ingestion and distribution backbone for all of OnDeck’s analytics platforms.
  • Own and execute on the roadmap for multiple OnDeck applications pertaining to third party data acquisition, statistical model hosting and account monitoring.
  • Build and maintain relationships with data vendors to ensure OnDeck can optimize its access to rich customer data.
  • Work with the Decision Services development team and build out an awesome platform for OnDeck to innovate with data-driven decisions.
  • Manage credit and decisioning products that impact partners across most of the company from ideation to completion.
Qualifications for success:
  • You are passionate about delivering data intensive and heavily technical systems
  • You have solid experience working in an Agile development process including collaborating with product managers, working with a team of engineers and doing what is needed to get products into the world
  • You have the ability to drill down from high level objectives to specific user stories and to weigh the costs and benefits of products through both these lenses
  • You have a passion for understanding new technologies in the fields of statistical modeling and data science
  • Experience with financial products a plus; especially geared towards the consumer / small business population
