Product Manager, Ecosystems

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the Snyk Open Source product team. Our mission is to allow millions of developers from top brands to develop fast and stay secure while building on top of Open Source.

Your role

As the Product Manager of the Languages team, you will get familiar with how the development languages your team supports are managing Open Source. You will engage with our customers to understand how they use them in their day to day and together with your team, you will plan how Snyk will help our customers to find and fix vulnerabilities automatically as part of their Software Development lifecycle (SDLC)

You will be the owner of your domain and you will lead the product from ideation throughout the product lifecycle. You will set the goals for your domain and you'll navigate the team to make sure we are hitting our business goals.

You’ll spend your time

• Working very close with the engineering team in order to ship products that developers enjoy using
• Planning your domain's product vision. You will create and prioritize your team's roadmap, you will define how success looks like and you will navigate the team to get there
• Continuously engaging with customers and prospects to get their feedback, discuss about their challenges and gain a full understanding of their needs
• Being an advocate of your domain internally and externally
• Partnering with Product Marketing and help drive marketing plans and activities
• Collaborating with our Sales team winning deals by providing guidance on needs coming from future customers
• Working with and enabling our Sales Engineering and Customer Success teams to make sure they have a good understanding of our product in order to help our customers and prospects to get the max value from Snyk.

You should apply if

• You have a software engineering background and you've used open source as part of your job
• You have at least 2 years of product management experience. Ideally working on an Enterprise SaaS product
• You are experienced with breaking complex challenges down into deliverable solutions
• You are able to quickly (self) learn new technical stuff
• You feel comfortable with vagueness and enjoy starting things from scratch
• You are comfortable adjusting priorities at short notice to respond to changes in the market
• You communicate proactively, and enjoy working in cross-functional delivery teams
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
