Title: Product Manager, Immersive Experiences
 
Job Description:
NIO’s mission is to transition users’ time in the car from “driving” to “being”, and give people time back. The Immersive Experiences team works at the core of this mission, as we work to specify, implement, and launch new user experiences designed from the ground up for the age of autonomous vehicles. These experiences touch our users across their lives, and particularly in-vehicle. They incorporate a range of platforms, canvases, and devices as they empower our users to be productive, peaceful, playful, social, or to be whomever they want to be (Check out the video here).
 
As Product Manager, Immersive Experiences you will own parts of the user experience suite, and will be responsible for defining and tracking the product requirements, supporting the engineering and design teams, initiating and managing the relevant business partnerships, as well as all other activities from conceptualization to launch.
 
Responsibilities:
Users first - Be the voice of the user to ensure best experiences across the stack.
Work closely with our design, UX research, engineering and data science teams to develop, test, and deliver our user experience suite.
Support BD team in discussions with relevant business partnerships to bring our users the best-in-class experiences.
Provide domain expertise and set a vision for apps/services ecosystem in the age of autonomy.
Work with cross-functional leaders across the company, evangelize the vision to align stakeholders.
Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences.
 
Requirements:
A computer science degree or equivalent. Hands-on software engineering experience. Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the metal.
Experience delivering successful and innovative consumer facing products.
Experience working as a product manager in fast-paced, complex, and rapidly evolving environment.
Experience evaluating and validating innovative products and features, working with analytics tools and usability testing.
Solid understanding of SW architectures, and developer ecosystems for leading mobile platforms, consumer electronics, and web.
Hand-on whenever needed and a commitment to make things happen.
Solid analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You are curious and a fast learner
Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum. is a plus.
MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
Understanding of software, hardware architectures for the automotive industry a plus.
