Position Overview

Aclima seeks a smart, enthusiastic go-getter who is passionate about advancing environmental awareness through technology. The position will be responsible for exploring and prototyping solutions for new market segments. This individual will be an ambassador for the company to partners and customers, gathering requirements that prioritize Aclima’s product development direction, while also guiding Aclima’s product experimentation in new market segments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Market research and strategy

  • Collect requirements and assess growth potential for key market segments through extensive primary and secondary research
  • Form deep understanding of customer needs and trends
  • Develop market segment strategy with Aclima leadership team, and champion throughout Aclima to marshall resources to implement

Product development

  • Craft clear business case and product requirements for new technical products or feature development, and coordinate with technical teams to implement
  • Prototype product and service offering with early customers and partners to assess fit and value
  • Iterate to reach scalable offering and business ecosystem alignment

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer empathy and insight, coupled with business judgment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 5+ years product and/or marketing experience within an undefined space, including full cycle product development and launch
  • Skill planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity
  • Passion for Aclima’s mission
  • Independent self-starter and creative problem solver
