  • Work closely with Pivotal clients to understand their product vision, and break it down into an actionable backlog of user stories for the development team
  • Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver software that meets client requirements
  • Help clients understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product through careful and deliberate prioritization
  • Work with design resources (internal and/or external) to ensure timely delivery of designs and assets to the development team
  • Mentor and train client PMs to help them learn agile/XP methods and build skills
  • Identify potential client success stories and share with Pivotal marketing team
  • Help innovate and iterate on agile PM processes and share our learnings
  • Train new Pivotal Product Managers in Pivotal techniques and processes
  • Contribute to the establishment of the new London office by supporting recruitment efforts, training new hires, participating and organising in Meet-Ups, Tech talks and other social events.

Required Skills/ Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of product management experience, preferably with mobile and web-based products.
  • Experience with Pivotal Labs' XP methodologies
  • Experience with Pivotal Labs’ product development process
  • Experience with Pivotal user research practices:
    • Generative research
    • Evaluative research
    • Persona generation
    • Business Modeling
    • Business Model Canvases
    • Competitive research
  • Ability to prioritize project backlogs in Pivotal tracker, informed by the user research techniques listed above
  • Experience in conducting or supporting proprietary Pivotal Product Management interviews (PPI, Tracker Roadmap)
  • Prior experience conducting project scoping session with prospective clients
  • Prior experience Conducting Pivotal project inception meetings would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively pair with Pivotal and Client Product Manager
  • Ability to train and coach new Pivotal Product Management hires in Pivotal techniques and processes
  • Experience recruiting for Pivotal Project Managers would be an asset
