Role Objective

The Platform Architecture team has a core mission of designing, developing, and delivering broad and complex cross functional products and applications.  Over the last four years, we have led many critical and innovative companywide product initiatives that have allowed the firm to build scale and broaden its offering of commercial products.   We look to expand our team as we begin to focus on building out our infrastructure to support funds, fund risk, and quantitative analysis.  We seek qualified individuals to join in assisting with all phases of the product development lifecycle.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of our product strategy across the Platform Architecture space:
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and build out specs for product features
• Prioritize features and work with internal architecture teams to design those features
• Build and socialize a product roadmap
• Work with software engineers to specify technical requirements then test and deploy new features into our production environment
• Generate documentation, follow-up on and diagnose errors

• Work with various internal leaders to generally improve our technical offering – improve performance, UX design, and overall usability of our platform.
• Step outside the team role when appropriate to contribute to the overall company mission and culture.

 

Candidate Profile

• +15 years of professional experience across technology, business analysis, data management/engineering, or finance.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously across multiple levels of an organization.
• Ability to operate at both a detailed and strategic level.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Technical background and good understanding of technical concepts. Comfort with SQL, data, and data modelling
• Experience managing all aspects of a project lifecycle – in particular, business analysis, writing technical requirements, testing software, and managing interaction with internal business stakeholders
