About this role

We are looking for a Product Marketer to join the Marketing team at Fuse Universal. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate extensively with product, R&D, sales and marketing teams to ensure a consistent understanding of our customers across the organisation. You will also be responsible for shaping our messaging and positioning to customers and the wider marketplace.

This is a new role at Fuse, so there is a lot of freedom to shape it and make it your own, but what is it likely to involve?

Market Research

  • Identifying target customers, their needs, buyer journey and how our products meet those needs
  • Conducting market and competitive analysis
  • Consistently communicating strategic insights with relevant internal teams

Positioning and Messaging

  • Developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience and clearly articulates our product’s differentiation
  • Conducting customer research to inform messaging and develop case studies

Customer Marketing

  • Developing and implementing programs that drive customer demand, engagement, retention and referrals
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programs on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborating with the product team to create content that helps customers to understand and get the most out of our products

Sales Enablement

  • Working closely with sales teams and developing content, assets, and tools including presentations, webinars, and competitive briefs
  • Briefing the sales team on product positioning and market trends


The ideal applicant for this role has:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with ability to translate complex ideas into simple, persuasive explanations and messages.
  • An ability to collaborate and work effectively with different teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Confidence collecting, analysing, and using quantitative and qualitative datasets.
  • A strong bias for action and experience working in start-ups/scale-ups (particularly in a B2B context).

It would also be awesome if you have experience:

  • Developing and delivering training materials or product-focused webinars.
  • Working with any of these tools: Mixpanel, Gainsight, Salesforce or HubSpot.
