Product Marketing Manager

Vital is seeking a proven Product Marketing Manager to join as a key member of the Marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager will build upon their healthcare experience to build out the Product Marketing function, drive messaging and positioning of existing Vital solutions and our innovative product roadmap. You will own the development of value propositions and competitive differentiators and use those to create sales collateral, client collateral, and client education pieces. Additionally, you will ideate strategies for lead generation and client expansion in close partnership with Marketing, Market Development, Product Engineering, Sales, Client Success, and Data Teams.

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing product messaging for new features and functionality for existing solutions as well as new features and products. Being nimble is key, as the Product Marketing Manager will oversee solution assets for lead generation, client expansion, and client education.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop value propositions and messaging that resonate with Vital’s current clients and health system buyers
  • Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape to identify and amplify product differentiators
  • Research and solicit feedback from our Client Success team and clients, aligning Vital’s product development activity with an informed understanding of the market

Sales Enablement and Client Education

  • Communicate the value proposition of the products to cross-departmental teams including Sales, Market Development, Client Success, and Implementation.
  • Develop the sales tools that support the selling process of Vital’s products
  • Develop client education pieces that support our clients, Client Success, and Implementation teams
  • Partner with the Sales team on account-specific custom content
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Content Marketing Manager, and Market Development to launch new products and services

Product Content

  • Create customer-centric messaging, stories, case studies, videos, presentations, and webinars
  • Work across teams to identify case study opportunities and own the research, development, and writing of case studies


  • 5+ years experience in healthcare/SaaS marketing (Patient Engagement, AI, and marketing to Enterprise Health Systems a plus)
  • Proven ability to coordinate and create consensus within cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to develop product marketing assets for sales enablement, client expansion, and client education
  • Exceptional writing skills that emphasize value storytelling for B2B audiences, including experience with case studies and eBooks
  • Ability to balance shifting priorities within the context of higher level business goals and ambitious department goals
  • Ability to learn new products and evaluate them from the market’s perspective
  • A history of data-driven decision making
  • Ability to communicate insights and advocate for a focused course of action
