THE ROLE

AS A PRODUCT OWNER you will work with a team to deliver software solutions for a specific business division. 

Your responsibilities will cover both the strategic and tactical aspects of Product Ownership. You will work closely with major stakeholders to define your product vision and values, aligning the commercial vision with product strategy. You will be fully responsible for the ownership and execution of your quarterly roadmap. You will work with Product Managers and Delivery Managers to ensure all aspects of requirements and delivery have been accounted for (this includes operational as well as technical delivery). 

You will work with a committed and collaborative team of developers, QAs, BAs, UXs, PMs and Subject Matter Experts who will assist you in achieving shared product goals. You will need to work transparently within our collaboration tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence) and provide clear and easily consumable progress reports to stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

THE WHAT (STRATEGIC)

• Propose roadmap priorities based on discussions with stakeholders and your understanding of commercial and product pressures providing data to back-up these decisions
• Help to create and drive vision for basketball data collection and distribution products – web, desktop, mobile app and others 
• Maintain and track product KPIs using this data to inform decision making, pivoting where required
• Maintain strong links and present your roadmap to key stakeholders across technical, commercial, support and operations in addition to key customers 
• Articulate vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project 
• Develop deep domain knowledge in your product and industry 

THE HOW (TACTICAL)

• Clarify requirements and define stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria, interacting with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to verify work is correctly specified and relevant assets (wireframes, designs) are included 
• Accept stories to ensure the completed functionality adheres to the specified business requirements 
• Provide an active role in mitigating blockers and delays impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals 
• Update stakeholders with timely progress reports, highlighting successes and delivery risks (along with identified mitigation strategies) and forward planning for future sprints 
• Work closely with the Development Team to ensure alignment on all team and product matters 
• Facilitate smooth running of all Agile Ceremonies and quarterly planning events

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Previous Product Owner, Product Management, Business Analyst or similar experience
• Track record in collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to refine the customer experience
• Knowledge of Agile delivery processes
• Previous experience of working in a software development environment
• Analytical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Team leadership
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized and able to prioritize based on business needs
• Ability to communicate vision to senior stakeholders

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Willingness to innovate and create top notch sports stats user interfaces, own look and feel of products

WE OFFER

For this position we offer gross salary starting from 2500 EUR/month depending on the level of experience, with numerous benefits that add value to the overall monthly compensation.
