We're looking for a brilliant Product Owner to join Tide’s payments team as we build a world class payments experience and solve our customers’ most important problems.

Your day will look a little like this...

As a Product Owner at Tide (fondly referred to as a Tidean, a god like challenger of the banking world) you'll become a core part of Tide’s Payments team, which is responsible for ensuring our payments functionality, underlying infrastructure, and operational capabilities are market leading. As a member of the team you’ll be working alongside experienced product managers and hand-in-hand with designers, developers and marketers, to research, build, ship and improve features.

We are a small team of highly capable people who believe passionately in the problem we are solving, collaborate closely with direct feedback, and encourage action over deliberation.

Who are we looking for?

  • You’re interested in what we’re trying to build here at Tide
  • You have at least 1-2 years experience managing software projects from development through to shipping - ideally in a product role
  • Experience in payments related products and technical platforms is a plus but not a necessity
  • You’re aware that shipping is not the end of the road, and you know how to manage continuous product improvement across a portfolio of features
  • You’re aware of the operational impact of a products and can work internally to make ensure post-launch success
  • You’re comfortable working in a technical team that deals with ambiguity every day
  • You’re comfortable working in a smaller, fast moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch
  • You understand what’s required to push projects to completion - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty removing blockers, working with suppliers, and finding ways around issues as they arise
  • You can communicate your reasoning in a structured manner, and know when to use data but also its limits
