As Production Manager you’ll be responsible for overseeing efficient and high-quality production operations. In close collaboration with the Inventory, Logistics, and Quality teams, you will lead the production team, optimise processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives at our Melbourne Fulfilment Centre located in Altona North, VIC 3025.

Your role 

• Overseeing daily production activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective output while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Leading and mentoring the production team to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Managing KPIs and ensuring data integrity for production performance and reporting.
• Driving automation and process optimization to improve efficiency and reduce labour costs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Inventory, Logistics, Safety andQuality to streamline operations.
• Supporting the Head of Production with strategic initiatives, capacity planning, and long-term growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production management, ideally in the food or beverage industry.

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and food safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and drive operational improvements.
• Experience with process optimisation and automation technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
