Position: Program Manager
Our primary care practice is seeking a program manager to spearhead the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) and ACO programs in our office. The incumbent should have healthcare and/or ACO knowledge or experience
Responsibilities for Program Manager:
- Knowledge of MDPCP and ACO program requirements
- Understand and utilize ACO and MDPCP tools
- Maintain excellent quality scores within Aledade commercial and public payer programs.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Working knowledge of state, federal, regional collection and reimbursement laws, HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology
- Practice Champion for various monthly quality meetings, review KPI, develop and implement new strategies & programs
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Disseminate information and educate stakeholders
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications for Program Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of program management or related experience
- Healthcare quality management and/or transformation experience
- Must be a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Knowledge of accounting and administrative processes
- Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
- Ability to handle medical records discreetly and comply with HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Communication skills and customer service orientations
