The Touch Surgery platform is an interactive surgical simulator for healthcare professionals; providing a realistic and detailed guide to every step of a procedure. Users can quickly learn surgery, instantly test their knowledge, and rehearse for surgery. With over 4 MILLION downloads, we are the global leader in mobile surgical training and our platform is the largest and fastest growing community of surgeons learning and rehearsing operations digitally.

Having revolutionised surgical training, we moved inside the Operating Room to help surgical teams and health systems optimise surgical services through data and analytics. This is where you come in. We’ve recently partnered with a billion dollar global healthcare organisation to co-develop new products / services and integrate them with some of their existing products. This is working in cutting edge tech… the kind we don’t really want to talk about in a job ad! This role reports directly to the VP Product but you’ll likely be working closely with the C-suite as well.

Working as the Programme Manager, you’ll be ensuring the governance and delivery of a major set of projects is excellently executed. The goal is to ensure our external client and internal teams have total clarity on delivery, what they need to do, and why it matters. This will include

  • Working with our internal teams as the lead organiser and communicator of what needs to get done, and when. Your collaboration will cross Product, Commercial, Finance, Engineering etc to ensure projects are on track
  • Be the person who provides assurance and confidence for, and continual communication with, our major partner. Lead meetings and ensure delivery and decision making and sharing are front and center of all we do.
  • Spot, Identify and flag potential risks before others: oversee a series of projects, preempting risks and mitigating them. Have the tenacity to take control where things require leadership and firmness. But have the wherewithal to tread carefully when needed.
  • Liaising with the relevant project sponsors on both sides, gaining their trust and showing them exemplary programme management attributes
  • Chairing meetings, ensuring minutes are taken and actions are shared promptly
  • Be responsible for preparing and presenting the quarterly / bi-annual review meetings with our partner
  • Be an integral leader in how we present ourselves externally and internally, demonstrating discipline and focus whilst being able to promulgate entrepreneurial flair and attitude.


This is more than a Project Manager role. This is a role in which you coordinate a highly important programme of work, setting a tone of focus and control for Digital Surgery as it works in collaboration with a huge client. You’ll need experience of managing multiple projects in an environment where development of products / services is highly visible to a senior stakeholder group. As time goes on, we’re likely to need to hire Project Managers for your team but, for now, you’ll still need to be hands on. Having worked in healthcare / medtech would be awesome for us but at least a background in tech is necessary. We don’t mind if you’ve done PMP, PRINCE2 etc but we expect you have a structured approach to running, tracking, delivering projects. Experience in an Agile environment would be useful. We love a kanban board!

One of the Co-Founders has 2 dogs, (named after batman characters) but they’re not on payroll !
