Project Coordinator, PMO Team

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a charismatic and highly organized candidate for the position of Project Coordinator, part of the global PMO team. As a member of our team, we will be looking to you to help us manage one of the largest development groups at SIE spanning our primary development locations of Japan and the US. Part of your duties will entail proactively managing the business cadences and duties necessary to help us prepare for key bi-weekly and quarterly reviews, share information internally and externally to our group, and help us remember to celebrate our successes by coordinating virtual and in person team events. You will be working cross functionally with groups in Engineering, Product, Design, Business and PMO.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Regular interaction with our teams to develop, maintain, and track: project plans, project schedules and open actions

  • Organizing, scheduling, and participating in stakeholder and team meetings

  • Preparing and distributing program materials to support our operations (ie: program reviews, regular status reports, quarterly reviews etc.)

  • Organize logistics related work for programs

  • Assessing and optimizing our internal processes and deliverables

  • Undertaking project tasks as required

  • Providing administrative support as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively and proactively both independently and as part of a team

  • Competency in program management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Slack, Google Suite (Slides/Sheets/Forms), MS Teams

  • Understanding of agile methodologies 

  • Process oriented, exhibit attention to detail, and ability to make clear and timely decisions

  • Motivated, organized self-starter with the ability to solve complicated problems effectively

  • Positive and encouraging personality.
