We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Producer to join our Organic Art team, working alongside award-winning artists from companies such as Industrial Light & Magic, Microsoft and Apple. Our team has collectively contributed to some of the largest properties in the world for films and game franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, Halo, Mortal Kombat and Jurassic Park to name just a few.

The ideal candidate will have interactive production experience working with a content creation team (Art, Animation, etc) on AAA or mobile games, VFX, AR, or VR experiences. This person will report to, and work closely with, the Director of Production to ensure the smooth running of the Art team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Tasking artists with work, ensuring the production schedule is met, communicating when things are at risk, and following up on blocking issues that might slow down production
  • Managing JIRA database for all Organic art assets
  • Scheduling production meetings across Art team, potentially including outside departments as well
  • Leading morning stand-ups with the Organic art team to ensure priorities are clearly understood, problems are identified, and communication back to the artists happens in a timely way
  • Leading daily art reviews with the Art Director, capturing all feedback and ensuring notes are addressed by the artist
  • Supporting team community initiatives and helping to drive team building events

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

  • Have experience working with a content team in production on video games, interactive experiences
  • Have experience with JIRA, understanding roadmaps and how to work with spreadsheets
  • Are comfortable running meetings and keeping the meeting on track, diplomatically
  • Have experience capturing meeting notes with accurate information and communicating out to stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Are able to self-manage and multi-task quickly, but calmly pivot from one high priority issue to another
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have experience working successfully on a remote team
  • Are willing and able to view videos of surgical procedures as needed
  • Are willing and able to use Virtual Reality headsets
  • Have an interest in, and passion for, art and technology--especially Virtual Reality

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall
