Project Manager, Program Delivery & Marketing

Job Summary: 

As our Project Manager for Program Delivery & Marketing, your primary role will be to lead the planning, management, and successful execution of partner program delivery and Hello Alice marketing campaigns. Operating in an Agile Scrum environment, you will be responsible for two core work streams:

  • Partner Program Delivery - Focus on the end-to-end planning and execution of partner programs, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Corporate Marketing Campaign - Focused on planning and managing the execution of marketing campaigns aimed at boosting brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue.

For both work streams, you will identify essential tasks and delegate them to the right team members, relying on Agile Scrum methodologies for efficient, transparent, and timely project delivery. This role reports to the Director of Product Management.

Role and Responsibilities:

Here's what you'll be working on day-to-day, but as a nimble organization that puts our small business community at the forefront, flexibility is key, and other responsibilities may arise:

  • Sprint Planning and Backlog Management - Creating and maintaining the Delivery & Marketing Backlogs, Sprint Backlogs, and other Scrum artifacts.
  • Marketing Strategy Work Breakdown - Translating marketing strategies into actionable sprint plans, with clearly defined tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Program and Marketing Delivery Management - Leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to keep the team aligned and focused on our goals.
  • Workstream Communication Management - Serving as the liaison between the scrum team and stakeholders, ensuring effective and timely communication, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and potential risk.
  • Content and Asset Delivery Management. Managing the work needed to create  program and marketing materials in a sprint-based cadence, including creating and maintaining a comprehensive content calendar
  • Delivery Oversight. Set the pace by establishing project timelines and milestones for marketing campaigns, and actively monitor progress to ensure adherence to, and staying ahead of, schedules. 
  • Vendor and Agency Relationship Management. Work with appropriate discipline managers to cultivate and manage relationships with vendors, agencies and freelancers as needed to ensure a smooth collaboration and delivery of external services and resources required for marketing initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather data to measure campaign effectiveness. Generate reports and provide insights to inform marketing strategy.  Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations. Ensure that marketing campaigns comply with industry regulations and legal requirements, such as GDPR or advertising standards.
  • Technology and Tools. Utilize project management software, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms to streamline workflows and enhance campaign tracking.
  • Continued Improvement. Conduct post-campaign evaluations to assess performance.  Implement lessons learned to improve future campaigns.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Educational Qualification: BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of increasing responsibilities in project management, with a focus on marketing or partnership development in fast-paced, Agile Scrum environments.
  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Certification or relevant job-based experience required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Basecamp) as well as familiarity with marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics).
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to clearly articulate project goals, timelines, and deliverables to team members and stakeholders.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel periodically throughout the United States.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment. Remote work includes working from a location other than a central office, such as an employee's home, a co-working or other shared space, a private office, or any other place outside of the traditional corporate office building or campus.
  • Ability to work for prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
