With you there ensuring our property inventory keeps up with the swift pace of the ever-changing rental market and personally helping our users to find the best place to call home, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering the experience every apartment seeker has dreamed of!

We’re looking for someone who possesses amazing problem-solving abilities, impeccable attention to detail, and can roll with the fast-paced, ever-evolving duties of a startup company.

This position will allow you to make a significant impact on our company’s product, and while you may sometimes find yourself in the weeds of massive amounts of data or search requests, you’ll also be a key player in making the ABODO apartment search experience one to remember!

Responsibilities

This position’s primary responsibilities will involve improving renters’ search experience by maintaining property inventory across the country.

The day-to-day of this role will include:

  • Serving as the primary point of quality control for thousands of rental listings
  • Updating and maintaining property data on our custom content management system
  • Contacting landlords to confirm apartment information, such as pricing and availability
  • Identifying and resolving issues with existing property data and inventory  
  • Providing fast, friendly, and over-the-top-awesome levels of service to all users
  • Proactively working to meet targets and goals
  • Prospecting additional properties and property managers to add to our database
  • Assisting with other operational, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • A can-do, "make it happen,” positive attitude
  • Ability to self-manage and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Excellent time and stress management abilities
  • Technology savvy, and able to pick up new technologies quickly
  • A fluid and thoughtful writer and thinker, skilled at communicating by phone, email, messaging, and yes - IRL!
  • Ability to follow set procedures while identifying areas of improvement
  • Team player, demonstrating excellent communication with teammates
  • Proficiency in content management systems, databases, and collaborative tools

Bonus Skills

  • 4 year college degree
  • Experience with the frustrations of apartment-hunting
  • Experience with data entry and management
  • Experience with measuring and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems
  • A lover of surprises and aficionado of great customer service
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
