QA Analyst - Client Applications

The Client Applications team is responsible for developing Twitch’s native client applications on a wide variety of target platforms including gaming consoles, mobile devices, set-top boxes and other current and future video platforms (e.g. VR). As a QA Analyst on the Client Applications team you will develop and execute test plans for all of our various apps to ensure the highest quality user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Test new features, along with the stability and speed of our user facing apps across multiple platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Android, iOS and set-top boxes
  • Ensure the product, design & development teams understand test results with regard to passes, failures and tests still to be executed
  • Facilitate improvements in QA infrastructure and processes to maximize efficiency
  • Develop, iterate, and own testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk for all functionality
  • Communicate with your peers, drive your own work and contribute to the success of our team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in QA
  • QA experience on mobile and/or gaming consoles (Xbox, PS4)
  • The ability to prioritize workload, manage risk, working to strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for the quality of the products you work on
