Zipdev is seeking a QA Engineer with Playwright to join us on our US-based client team. You will be part of a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced and proactive environment. Your knowledge of the latest techniques and frameworks used to create fast, efficient, dynamic, scalable web apps will help us change modern education.
What you will do:
- Responsible for creating, writing, and executing manual test plans for web and mobile applications, tracking issues and defects, and reporting on quality metrics.
- Work on good test coverage by writing and maintaining effective automated tests.
- Be a champion of code quality in the team by adhering to CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles.
- Ensure rigorous quality processes and standards are followed.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience writing, organizing, and executing QA test plans for web and/or mobile applications in a technology-first organization.
- Extensive experience and comfort managing work through issue/defect tracking software such as Jira
- Proficient with QA tools and automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms such as Playwright
- Experience with any of these programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, and .NET C#.
- Strong track record of taking ownership of QA processes and initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles
- Familiarity with Node.js is a plus
- Experience with Mocha, Jest or Jasmine
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Be located in Latin America
