As a QA Engineer in Kontakt.io, you will learn to analyze and assure the quality of our products. You will become familiar with developing the overall system test plan, manual testing and test automation. Your role will be to assist in developing the best test strategy to ensure that Kontakt.io products are tested thoroughly to meet quality standards. Success in this position requires a passion for high quality, problem solving approach, persistence and flexibility.
Your daily tasks:
- carry out manual tests to ensure the software created meets the requirements
- conduct analyses of software to prevent issues and fix bugs before the product is dispatched to users
- create and execute test plans for environmental testing and document test procedures for hardware and software projects of moderate and high conceptual complexity
- execute test cases and log bugs into the bug tracking system in accordance with our QA requirement
- sreview and design technical specs, and translate them into test cases to assure optimal test coverage
- provide comprehensive QA test reports
- communicate with the team on a daily basis to share and build knowledge.
Our requirements:
- min. 2 year of professional experience as a manual tester
- basic knowledge of Python/previous experience in Python programming
- ability to work in command line interfaces like Bash
- good English spoken and written communication skills
- attention to details
- strong analytical skills
Nice to have skills:
- understanding of Internet of Things (IoT)
- prior experience in Electronics field and hardware testing
